About College

Government Teachers Training College (GTTC), Malda is a government-sponsored college, which provides one-year B Ed course. The college is affiliated to University of Gour Banga and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).  The 
college applies all the modern method of teaching, to ensure that its students are groomed to become skillful teachers. The College has qualified and expert lecturers, to provide guidance on different aspects of the course.

The aim of the college is to impart proper training to the educated youth in the field of education and also to enable the prospective teacher to understand the nature, purpose and spirit of Secondary/Higher Secondary Education. The College is involved to give the trainees to meet the future challenges in the field of Education and develop communication skills and use modern information technology for School Purpose.
