Gour Mahavidyalaya

Gour Mahavidyalaya, Malda was established in 1985. The college is affiliated to the University of North Bengal and accredited by NAAC with B grade. The aim of the college is to cater to the needs of the people, mainly of the district, as well as, those of this locality, in the field of higher education. Gour Mahavidyalaya a premier institution for higher education of the old Malda reserve constituency, has been trying continuing to free people from ignorance, superstition, and many wrong ideas on the one hand and provides the people of this locality with some skill or special kind of knowledge enable them to earn a decent living on the other.
