College of Arts and Science the vision is to providing quality education in emerging fields particularly at the post-graduate level and through research programmes,with accent on high value systems and the production of knowledgeable human resource thereby contributing to the process of nation-building. The mission of the institute is to build up a learner-friendly, co-friendly academic environment and to offer innovative quality education in emerging fields with flexibility in curriculum, teaching and learning process.

The institute is concentrate on research activities, aiming at national and global recognition and to get learners interested in national and international issues and involve them in nation-building activities. To offer a wide range of higher education in tune with the needs of industry, business and administration leavened by strong commitment to excellence and creativity in teaching and learning which is responsive to regional, national and international needs and aspirations.The college has created an inimitable academic space for itself within nearly five decades of its monumental existence.Providing education with vision and creativity, the college lays great stress on personliized attention to prepare the students for world-class professional avenues.

J.J. College of Arts and Science is the Trust's first educational endeavour of benevolence. The other three Government colleges of long standing and serving hitherto the cause of higher education in Pudukkotai were all confined to conventional field of study.
