About College

Kalam Institute of Technology (KIT), Ganjam has been recognized by competent authorities as a centre of learning and enjoys the approval of the all India council for technical education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha. The main aim of the institute was to help the young students of Odisha after their school education to enter in the field of technical education is choosing either 3 years diploma course or 4 years B. Tech degree course basing upon their eligibility, interest, career objective and varied economic standard.

Kalam Group of Institutions has been started under the aegis of Utkal Insurance & Management Educational Trust (UIMET), a well known Educational Trust in the Ganjam district of Odisha. The college envisions making the Institute a centre of excellence by providing required education in the field of science & technology for the intellectual growth of the students of Odisha and other states of India in particular and contributing substantially to the field of technical education in India & abroad in general.
