About College

Konark Institute of Science & Technology (KIST), Bhubneswar was established in 2001. College is managed by Bidyasagar Charitable Trust. It is an ISO 9000 : 2001 certified institution is one of the most emerging engineering colleges in Orissa and the trend setter to provide quality techno education. It is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Govt. of Orissa. This is the first venture of the Hi-Tech Group of Educational Institutions. With a concrete plan to offer excellence in techno education and to meet the present status of industrial growth academicians and integellicia of Vidya Sagar Charitable Trust formed KIST.

The mission of the college is to provide quality technical education of international standards for producing technocrats and future leaders in disciplined and conducive environments as an integral part of our social commitment to promote education in India. The vision of the college is to be recognized as an international leader in Engineering education, research and the application of knowledge to benefit society globally. College provides quality techno education in a highly disciplined environment at par with international standards special emphasis is given on development of students to empower them to stand up to the challange of the present employment market of the world.
