Maharaja Arts and Science college is affiliated to Bharathiar University and approved by AICTE. The college mission is to provide international education in a regimented and gusto milieu more on practical than the theory, to with stand in the new era to compete with international arena and it provokes the scholars to realize the social responsibility and human welfare. The college vision is to shape and mould the knowledge, skill and attributes of the young men and women through novel instructions, with the help of proficient faculty, to nourish and flourish in the futuristic society for the betterment of country.

Maharaja Arts and Science College at Coimbatore was established in the year 1998 by the Paramasivam Palanisamy Charitable Trust, Erode. Today, the institution has made substantial progress by way of offering UG and PG programs in Arts and Sciences disciplines, to promote the education in both city and hamlets. To meet and compete the IT and MNC‘s standards the MCA department works as team with eminent professionals and academicians to achieve their best in both academic and extracurricular activities. Presentations and seminars, Industrial visit and guest lecturers from the IT’S are to progress the competence of the students. 

Maharaja Arts and Science College has a self-governing placement office devoted to endow placement assistance to the students through conducting on and off camps interviews. It provides a career guidance counseling to the students and also conducts workshops such as remedial program (English), soft skills and interview techniques for their successful career placement. Every year the rate of the placement is just about 75% to 85% in diverse Regional, National and IT firms.
