Mayurbhanj Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Baripada has been considered one of the top Homoeopathic institutes in the state. It was established in 1980. North Orissa University has given affiliation to Mayurbhanj Homoeopathic Medical College in Baripada.  Mayurbhanj Homoeopathic Medical College imparts Bachelor’s degree course in the field of Homoeopathy, which is called Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS).
