SCMS School of Engineering and Technology

SCMS School of Engineering and Technology (SSET), promoted by the SCMS Group of Educational Institutions, has been in the forefront of providing quality professional education in Engineering & Technology since 2001. The SSET has established state of the art facilities on a sprawling 29 acre campus at Karukutty in Ernakulam District. SSET is one among the first ten colleges to be set up in the State under the private self-financing scheme.

The SCMS School of Engineering & Technology (SSET), is the first engineering college in the self-finance scheme to offer basic branches like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering right from the first year of establishment of the institution. Over the years it has added more courses in Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Automobile Engineering at the B.Tech level and MCA and M.Tech at the post graduate level.

SSET has a total capacity of 120 students in each branch of B.Tech course except Automobile Engineering. With a total sanctioned intake capacity of, 660 students in six branches of B.Tech, 120 students in six branches of M.Tech and 60 students for MCA, SSET is the second largest engineering college set up under the self financing scheme in Kerala.
