In the annals of Maharashtra's tradition & history , goddess Shri Tulja Bhavani occupies unique position . She is the divine patroness of the state of Maharashtra ( Kulswamini the family deity of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ). She is worshipped by millions of devotees, who visit Tuljapur every year to seek her blessings.

The temple & its estates are managed by a trust, headed by the Collector & Dist. Magistrate, Osmanabad.
