SRI SARADA NIKETAN COLLEGE OF SCIENCE FOR WOMEN

Sri Sarada Niketan College of Science for Women is a private college affiliated to Bharathidasan University. The college is a self-financing college established in 1987 by Srimath Swami Chidhbhavananda Maharaj. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate in arts, commerce, science and computers. The college has been accredited by National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC). Presently over 846 students are enrolled in various courses offered by the college. College campus is very big and sprawled over an area of about 273 acres of land.

The mission of Sri Sarada Niketan College of Science for Women , Karur is to mold young girls into perfect women with purity of heart and strength of mind .That is The vision of our revered founder srimat swami chitbhavananda.His great desire was that 'the girls who enter the portals of this temple of learning should leave it as perfect women.' The Tamil Term 'Nirai Nangaiyar' express the vision more approximately as 'Nirai' stands for 'complete', 'perfect' 'chate' and 'strong' and 'Nangaiyar' means women. Accomplishing all round development of the will, emotion and cognition of the students through the curricular, co- curricular and extra curricular activities of the college, encourage the students for excellence in higher education and research,  instill love for the mother land and eager intent to invigorate her through active services. inculcate a sense of unity and respect for all religious coupled with firm adherence to ones own religion, these processes are major goals of the the institute.
