Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Conducts (IBPS Clerk) Common Written Exam (CWE) for Clerical Cadre 19243 Posts in different Public Sector banks and financial Institution. IBPS department provides human resources to them through clearing a process of CWE (Prelims & Mains). Every year conducts IBPS Common Written Exam for Clerks Recruitment at different cities of all states. IBPS Clerk 2021 Eligibility Criteria

IBPS Clerk 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for IBPS Clerk 2018 comprises of the following rules:

  • Nationality/Citizenship
  • Age limit
  • Educational Qualifications

Nationality/Citizenship: The applicant of IBPS Clerk 2018 should be a citizen of India or Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who has settled in India before January 1962. The aspirant can also be a person of Indian origin who migrated from other countries and possess a certificate of eligibility that is issued by the Government of India.

Age limit: The minimum age limit for an applicant of IBPS Clerk 2018 is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years.

The age relaxation can be applied but only according to the government rules that follow:

SC/ST 5 years
Physically challenged people 10 years
Widows, divorced women, women separated from husbands who did not remarry 9 years
Individuals domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir during 01.01.1980-31.12.1989 5 years
Ex-Serviceman/Disabled ex-servicemen Total service period contributed to defense forces + 3 years(8 years for Disabled ex-servicemen from SC/ST caste) can have a maximum age limit of 50 years
Persons who were affected by the 1984 riots 5 years
Employees of the Union Carbide Factory, Bhopal diminished from service(Only for Madhya Pradesh state only) 5 years

Educational Qualifications: A candidate must acquire a Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. Further, the aspirant should be passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation level. In addition, the candidate should have proof of passing the qualifying examination.
