For M.A. / M.Sc. / M.Com. / M.A. & M.Sc. / M.Com. Courses :

Allahabad University has Conducted Post Graduate Admission Test ( PGAT ) for the admission of Post graduate courses during the academic year 2015-16.

Students who have completed a Bachelors degree in Cognitive Science or related disciplines including Psychology, Neuroscience, Bio-sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Medicine, etc. are eligible to apply for admission to the Master program.

Students should have at least 55% ( for General ) at the Undergraduate level ( 50% for OBC / SC / ST ) for appearing in the entrance exam.

A written entrance test followed by interview is conducted for the purpose of selection. The interview and the written test assess the student’s capability for carrying out independent research and a flair for studying cognition.

Admission is based on the student’s performance in the written test, interview and the bachelor degree. Fellowships of 3,000 INR / month are also awarded to the selected candidates based on merit.
