Air Force Common Admission Test

AFCAT 2017- Air Force Common Admission Test is conducted for all Male and Female candidates interested to join the Indian Air Force as Commissioned Officers in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Branches. The exam is conducted two times in a year i.e. in the month of February and September. Indian Air Force has published notification for the recruitment Commissioned Officer vacancies for Grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying & Permanent Commission (PC)/Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branches through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) - 02/ 2017 - Courses Commencing in July 2018 Eligible candidates may apply online from 03rd June to 29th June 2017.

Air Force Common Admission Test 2021 Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern:

  • The test will be of 2 hours duration.
  • There will be Multiply Choice Based Questions of 3 marks each.
  • The candidates will be penalized in the form of deduction of 1 marks for every wrong answers attempted by them.
  • Three wrong answers will take away one correct answer.
  • Questions are asked from Numerical ability, Verbal Ability in English, General awareness, Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test.
