Air Force Common Admission Test

AFCAT 2017- Air Force Common Admission Test is conducted for all Male and Female candidates interested to join the Indian Air Force as Commissioned Officers in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Branches. The exam is conducted two times in a year i.e. in the month of February and September. Indian Air Force has published notification for the recruitment Commissioned Officer vacancies for Grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying & Permanent Commission (PC)/Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branches through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) - 02/ 2017 - Courses Commencing in July 2018 Eligible candidates may apply online from 03rd June to 29th June 2017.

Air Force Common Admission Test 2021 Features

Selection Process:

  1. Applicants who have successfully submitted their application form will be called for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) (for group of candidates applying for technical branch).
  2. List of candidates who are shortlisted after AFCAT/EKT will be called to attend further test conducted at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs) located at Mysore, Dehradun, Gandhinagar, Varanasi or Kancharapara.
