University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Design Aptitude Test

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) conducts online Design Aptitude Test in order to offer admission to aspirants in design programmes on offer by the college. University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) offers design courses both at the undergraduate and postgraduate level to aspirants under its School of Design Studies (SoDS). UPES DAT is an online test. Aspirants need to take UPES DAT 2019 in order to secure admission in MDes and BDes courses on offer by School of Design Studies (SoDS) at UPES.

To secure admission in design programmes at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), aspirants have to give DAT and those who clear this admission round then need to appear for the interviews and portfolio round

UPES DAT 2021 Counselling Procedure

UPES DAT 2019 Counselling Procedure:

UPES will conduct the counselling of UPES DAT 2019 for those candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test. Those who are eligible based on their JEE or UCEED ranks, will have their names listed on the merit list released on the official website.

  • The counselling for admission will be conducted separately for the JEE Main 2019 and UCEED qualified candidates.
  • UPES will follow a centralized counselling for UPES DAT 2019.
  • The counselling letter will be allotted to eligible candidates.
  • As per the ranking, candidates will be called for counselling.
  • All the essential documents will have to carried by the candidate for the verification purpose.

Essential Documents

Candidates need to carry the following documents at the counselling center:

  • UPES DAT 2019 Counseling letter
  • Four recent passport size photographs
  • UPES DAT 2019 Admit Card
  • Original and photo copies of mark sheets of Class 10 and 12
  • Portfolio
