Birla Institute of Technology and Science ( BITSAT ) Engineering Entrance Examination

BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) 2019 is a computer-based online test for providing admission to Integrated First Degree programs offered at BITS Pilani campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.Candidates who have passed their class 12th examination with aggregate 75% marks in PCB/PCM are eligible to apply.

BITSAT exam will be conducted in two slots each day. The first session will be from 9 am – 12 noon, while the second slot will be from 2 pm- 5 pm. You can choose either of these, based on the availability. There is no change in BITSAT Syllabus. Candidates must carefully go through their class 11 and 12 syllabi of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 40 questions are asked from Physics and Chemistry combined while 45 questions will be put up from Mathematics/Biology.

BIT SAT 2018 Counselling Admission Form

The candidates whose names appear in the All India Rank (AIR) will then have to wait for the release of the online admission form to be released by the BITS. The candidates will have to fill the application form to make them available for the admission procedure. Here they have to enter the following details:

The candidates will have to opt for the engineering courses as well as the campuses of the BITS on the online Application form.
The application form should be submitted online along with the scanned copy of the class 12 mark sheet.
Personal Information – The candidates need to enter their personal details in the application form like their name, roll number of the BIT SAT 2018 Exam, phone number, email ID, category, name of their parents and any other personal details asked by them.
Educational details – Here the candidates need to fill their educational details and about the marks and subjects they opted in the Class 10^th and class 12^th they should be very specific and clear while filling this information.
Filling of Preference – Here the candidates need to choose the college and department they want to take admission in. here they will have to opt for the courses available in the colleges. They should note that the BITS will have final say in the seat allotment as according to the AIR in the BIT SAT 2018.
The candidates who do not have the Class 12^th Mark sheet in original should submit the provisional certificate duly signed by the head of their previous institution.

BIT SAT 2018 Counselling Procedure

The counselling procedure for the BIT SAT 2018 has been divided into various iterations for assignment of colleges and departments to the aspiring candidates who have filled the counselling and admission form:

First of all the candidates will have to fill the application for the counselling and admission when it gets declared online.
Then the allotment of the college and the courses will be done for all the iterations which will be done online only.
Once the allotment is done, they will have to report to the colleges and departments and submit the admission fee.
If the seats will be left vacant, the candidates from the waiting list will be called for subsequent rounds of counselling.
