National Aptitude Test in Architecture ( NATA ) Entrance Examination

The Council of Architecture conducts the National Aptitude Test in Architecture for admission to 5 years B.Arch. Degree Programme. CoA has been organising the NATA exam since 2006, keeping the Minimum Standards of Architectural Education Regulations, 1983, of the Gazette of India. Students appearing in NATA 2019 need not attempt multiple aptitude tests to get into private and government-aided institutes or universities to pursue Bachelor of Architecture. From this year onwards, the national-level architecture exam will be held in two parts – Part A and Part B.

NATA 2019 Application Form:

Admission authorities has released the application form of NATA 2019 in online on January 24. The first stage of filling NATA 2019 is registration, during which one has to enter details like name, valid email id and mobile number. Post successful registration, fill relevant sections of the form, upload documents, and pay the application fee. Only correct details should be entered for filling the NATA application form 2019, as each detail will be thoroughly verified; if discrepancies are found, the candidate may be barred from admission.

Steps to fill NATA 2019 application form

·         Step 1 – Registration: The candidate has to get registered using details like name, valid email id, mobile number, date of birth etc. The candidate will also be required to select a security question and create password for future log-ins. After filling the details, click on the submit button. The application window will generate a 8 digit application number. Candidates are advised to remember the password and application number for all future procedures of application and admission.

·         Step 2 – Log-in to account to fill application form: After logging in, candidates have to enter their personal, communication, and academic details. The exam centres (three options have to be chosen) also have to be chosen in this step.

·         Step 3 – Uploading of document: In this step, the candidate has to upload the scanned image of their photograph, signature and community certificate (if admission is sought under reserved category). The uploaded documents have to meet the specifications outlined in the table below.

·         Step 4 – Submission of form: After uploading the documents, the candidate has to submit the application form. Candidates are also allowed to modify their details within March 12-15 if they have entered any wrong information at the time of application form filling.

·         Step 5 – Payment of application fee: In the penultimate step, application fee of Rs. 1800 ( Rs. 1500 for SC/ST candidates) has to be paid. The fee can be paid online using credit card, debit card, or net banking. If candidates wishes to give both the attempts, they will have to pay Rs 3500 (Rs 2800 for SC/ST candidates) in online mode.

Step 6 – Printing of confirmation page: If the payment is successful, the application confirmation page will be displayed. The candidate needs to download and take a printout of it.
