The Council of Architecture conducts the National Aptitude Test in Architecture for admission to 5 years B.Arch. Degree Programme. CoA has been organising the NATA exam since 2006, keeping the Minimum Standards of Architectural Education Regulations, 1983, of the Gazette of India. Students appearing in NATA 2019 need not attempt multiple aptitude tests to get into private and government-aided institutes or universities to pursue Bachelor of Architecture. From this year onwards, the national-level architecture exam will be held in two parts – Part A and Part B.

The exam-conducting authority will administer the test in 122 cities across India and 1 overseas destination (Dubai). The exam-takers will have to choose the NATA 2019 exam centre as per their feasibility while filling in the NATA 2019 online application.
