Tezpur University Entrance Exam

Tezpur University has released the admission form for TUEE 2019 on February 27, 2019. Tezpur University will conduct Tezpur University Entrance Exam for the Integrated programmes along with Masters programme and PhD programmes. To apply for the different programmes offered candidates need to fill and submit the application form along with the application fee online. The application forms are available online for the candidates to fill and submit till April 30, 2019. The admit card for the entrance exam will be available online to download from the fourth week of April 2019. TUEE 2019 will be conducted in the offline mode for a duration of 2 hours in two sessions. The admissions for Tezpur University will be conducted based on the merit secured by candidates in the entrance examination. The Counselling procedure will commence by the last week of July 2019. Candidates must make sure to carry along with them all the documents required for the counselling procedure. M. Sc. in Chemistry

Candidates must complete their Bachelor’s degree with major/ honours in Chemistry subject with a minimum of 45 percent marks and should have Physics and Mathematics as subsidiary subjects.

M. Sc. in Environmental Science

Candidates must complete their B.Sc. in Physical/Biological/ Earth and Environmental Sciences as major/ honours with minimum of 50 percent marks. 

Candidates who do not have a major/honours must have minimum 55 percent marks aggregate. Or, 

B.Sc. (Agri.) with at minimum 6.0 CGPA in 10 point scale or equivalent. Or 

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Medicine with 55 percent marks or equivalent grade points.

M. Sc. in Mathematics

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45 percent marks major/honours, either in Mathematics or Statistics. 

Candidates who have completed major/honours in Statistics should also have Mathematics as subsidiary course with a minimum of 50 percent marks. 

Candidates not having major/honours must have 50 percent marks in aggregate and a 50 percent aggregate in mathematics

M. Sc. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology*

Bachelor’s degree in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/ Technology, four years B.S. programme (Physician Assistant course) or Medicine, MBBS or BDS with a minimum 55% marks in major/honours or aggregate. Those who have passed the qualifying examination before 2 years from the date of announcement of admission are not eligible.

M. Sc. in Physics

Candidates must have completed B.Sc. with minimum of 50 percent marks in major/honours in Physics having Mathematics as one of the subsidiary subjects. 

Candidate who do not have major/honours must have 55 percent marks in aggregate and in Physics

*10 seats are reserved for permanent residents of any of the North-East-States (filled up through the Tezpur University Entrance Examinations 2019) and 20 seats are filled up through “All India Combined Entrance Test” conducted by DBT, Government of India from time to time)
