Patna Law College was established in July 1909. Prior to the establishment of this Institution. The teaching of Law used to be imparted in Patna College. Till 1917 the College was affiliated to Calcutta University. When Patna University come into existence in 1917, it became affiliated to it. Upto 1st January, 1952, Patna Law College was a Government institution and functioned as an independent unit. From that date it became a consitiuent college of Patna University under the Patna University Act. 1951.

The university shall conducted Entrance Test for admission into LL.M ( Two years Master Degree course ), herein after called MLET, for the session 2015-16.

The admission shall be made strictly according to merit list prepared on the basis of said Entrance Test, subject to fulfilling of eligibility requirements mentioned below and the general laws of the university concerning admission.The Admission is purely based on Entrance Test .About Patna university Law Entrance Examination complete Details are shown in below .

The form for the Entrance test and prospectus may be obtained from the office of

P.G Department of Law,

Patna University through Demand Draft of under mentioned amount issued in favour of "Head, P.G. Department of Law, Patna University"

payable at "Patna"

Application Fee :

Rs.1000/- ( in case of General and OBC Candidates )

Rs.800/- ( in case of SC / ST Candidates)

Prescribed application form for the entrance test and prospectus may also be downloaded from the website of Patna University www.patnauniversity.ac.in and duly filled in application form may be submitted along with Demand Draft of Rs.1000/-

( For General and OBC Candidates ) or Rs.800/-

( For SC / ST Candidates) issued in favour of "Head, P.G. Department of Law, Patna University" payable at "Patna"

The concession in Entrance Test Fee will be available to only those ST / SC candidates who originally belong to State of Bihar The dully filled Application Form:

The dully filled application form along with Bank Draft in case of downloaded application form attested copies of Mark sheet / Certificate and Cast Certificate is sent to the Head, PG Deptt. of Law, Patna University, Patna-800006 by Registered Post / Speed

The application form should reach to the Head, PG Deptt of Law, Patna University on or before the last date of submission of form University will not be liable for postal delay Application will not be received in the office of PG Dept of Law by hand.
