Management Aptitude and Skills Test ( MAST )

Management Aptitude and Skills Test is a computer-based objective type test which evaluates some major tasks of the candidates like critical thinking; cross - functional competence; communication skills; key personality traits and cultural awareness; competence in their discipline and technological competence. The 2 hours 30 minutes MAST test is divided into three main sections namely - General Aptitude; Domain Knowledge and Psychometric or Personality Assessment. Management Aptitude and Skills Test - MAST is the latest offering for the benefit of both recruiters and fresh Management pass outs alike. In the current business scenario companies are beginning to understand that to stay competitive, they need to focus on developing and hiring most suitable candidates for the right job. The objective of MAST is to identify potential managers who are capable of making a difference in the management of the organsiation and create path that is good not only for them, but also for the society. MAST is conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT) only. Validity of MAST score is for one year.

AIMA has come up with a new recruitment tool by the name of Management Aptitude and Skills test (MAST) which can be conducted in campus via which companies can hire the right candidates and management students can get the right offers. It was conducted for the first time in the year 2010 at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar.

Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification:

Post Graduation/ MBA Students- 2009 batch and onwards.

MBA/PGDM or equivalent degree/diploma in management from a recognized University/Institute should be of 2 year Full Time or 3 year Part Time or 3 year distance Learning Programme

Students appearing for their final year examinations can also apply.
