Management Aptitude Test ( MAT )

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is the prestigious management entrance exam which acts as a gateway for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. It is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). MAT scores are considered by more than 600 B-Schools across India. It is the entrance test of national level conducted four times in a year. Candidates wish to pursue MBA course can apply anytime for MAT. Every year, the first MAT exam will be held in the month of February, May, September, and December respectively.

MAT 2018 Admit Card:

Downloading of MAT 2018 December admit cards for Computer-based test (CBT) will commence from December 10, and for Paper-Based Test (PBT) will commence from December 1, 2018.

Candidates appearing for MAT 2018 December exam can download their hall tickets from the official website of AIMA MAT when available.

It must be noted that admit card is available online only, and will not be sent by post to the test-takers. Candidates appearing for MAT 2018 December exam can download their hall tickets from the official website of AIMA MAT when available.

Admit cards are allotted only to those candidates who successfully register for the exam. The admit card can be accessed by entering any two of the following details: Online Application Number / Date of Birth / E-Mail ID.

To download the admit card, the below-mentioned steps need to be followed:

  • Visit the official website of MAT
  • Click on download tab present on the homepage
  • A drop-down will appear
  • Select MAT to admit card from the drop-down
  • Enter any two details: Online Application Number/ Date of Birth/ E-Mail ID
  • Click on submit
  • The admit card will appear on the screen
  • Download and print the admit card

Once the admit card is downloaded, candidates must check for the following details:

  • Name of the candidate – the name must not be misspelt
  • Date of Birth of the candidate
  • Registration number allotted to the candidate
  • Category of the candidate - PwD/DA status should be correct
  • Photograph of the candidate- the photo should be clearly visible
  • Exam date
  • Exam time
  • Exam venue – the exam centre mentioned should be the same as selected by the candidate while filling the application form
  • Contact details of the candidate
  • Instructions related to the exam

The details mentioned on the hall ticket must be the same as those entered in MAT 2018 December application form. In case there is any discrepancy in the above details, the same must be reported immediately to the officials.

Candidates must make sure that they carry their respective admit cards to the exam hall. The same needs to be presented when asked by the invigilator. Also, it is advisable to carry a photo ID proof along with the admit card. The copy of the admit card must be kept until the entire admission process is over. The candidate is required to bring an original as well as a Xerox copy of a photo id proof along with MAT Admit Card to the exam centre. Candidates can choose to get anyone identity proof mentioned below:

  • Driving License
  • PAN Card
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Passport
  • Voter ID card

Candidates who have applied under reserved categories need to carry the original copy of their Caste/Disability certificate. Candidates who have changed their name are required to carry their respective document to the exam centre along with the hall ticket.

Before entering the exam hall, the admit card is checked by the invigilator. Once satisfied, the invigilator signs the admit card and keeps the top half of the admit card with himself/herself. The lower half of the admit card is handed over to the test-taker. The admit card must be preserved until the entire admission process gets over.
