Open Management Admission Test ( OPENMAT ) is a common entrance test conducted by Indira Gandhi National Open University ( IGNOU ) for admission to its Management Programmes. OPENMAT examination is held twice a year usually in the month of February and August. Indira Gandhi National Open University ( IGNOU ) under its School of Management Studies (SOMS ) every year holds an all-India entrance test ( OPENMAT ) for admission into its various distance-learning management programmes. In terms of the spread and enrolment, the IGNOU Management Programme is one of the leading Management Programmes in the world.

Indira Gandhi National Open University ( IGNOU ) OPENMAT MBA Entrance Examination Admission Procedure - 2015

Admission to the MBA, Diploma in Management, PGDIM and Post Graduate Diplomas in HRM, FM, OM, and MM, will be done on the basis of the score obtained in the OPENMAT, conducted all over India twice a year.

•A result card will be sent to all the candidates who have appeared in the OPENMAT 2014 Examination. It will indicate whether the candidate has qualified or not qualified for admission on the basis of cut – off score as decided by the University.

•After qualifying in OPENMAT, a learner will have to apply on the specified Application Form – Form 2 which is given in the Prospectus along with required documents to the Regional Director concerned.

Admission will be offered to all those attaining the cut off score and above, subject to their fulfilling other eligibility criteria as mentioned.
