Open Management Admission Test ( OPENMAT )

Open Management Admission Test ( OPENMAT ) is a common entrance test conducted by Indira Gandhi National Open University ( IGNOU ) for admission to its Management Programmes. OPENMAT examination is held twice a year usually in the month of February and August. Indira Gandhi National Open University ( IGNOU ) under its School of Management Studies (SOMS ) every year holds an all-India entrance test ( OPENMAT ) for admission into its various distance-learning management programmes. In terms of the spread and enrolment, the IGNOU Management Programme is one of the leading Management Programmes in the world.

Candidates who have qualified for admission on the basis of the score obtained in the Entrance Test ( IGNOU OPENMAT ) will be eligible to take admission into Management Programs in any of the following two semesters.

For example, a student who qualifies for admission in August 2014 OPENMAT test, may take admission in any of the following two semesters i.e. either in January 2015 or July 2015 semester.

Similarly one who qualifies in February 2015 OPENMAT may take admission in July 2015 or January 2016 semester.

The last dates for submission of the Application Form ( Form-2 ) for Admission to these semesters are as follows :

For those qualifying February 2015 Test ( OPENMAT – XXXVII )

2^nd Sem. 2015 ( July 2015 ) - 31st May, 2015.

1^st Sem. 2016 ( January 2016 ) - 30th November, 2015
