MBA | RCU MBA PGCET | Eligibility Criteria

Before the Rani Channamma University came into being in 2010, Karnatak University KRCPG Centre of Karnatak University, Dharwad was functioning at Belagavi. The said Karnatak University PG Centre was established at Belagavi in the year 1982, to provide an opportunity to develop access to the students for higher education hailing from North Karnataka Region. In the year 1994 the PG centre was shifted to the present campus of 172 acres of land located at Bhutramanahatti adjacent to the Pune-Bangalore National Highway – 4 at a distance of about 18 kms from Belgaum city. Karnatak University PG Centre has been declared as Rani Channamma University in the month of July, 2010 with the jurisdiction of Belagavi, Bijapur, and Bagalkot districts. It is catering to the needs of the people of North Karnataka by providing excellent opportunities for higher education.

Rani Channamma University is offering 9 PG courses at Vidyasangam Campus Belagavi, in the faculties of Arts, Science, Education, Social Science, Commerce and Management. It is also offering M.Phil and Ph. D programmes.

RCU MBA PGCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Rani Channamma University ( RCU ) PGCET MBA Entrance Examination Eligibility Criteria – 2014

Candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examination with aggregate marks not less than 50 per cent ( 45 per cent for SC / ST / CAT-I candidates ) are eligible to apply for PGCET-2014.

Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for PGCET-2014 provided they have passed in all their previous ( years / semesters ) examinations AND will be in a position to be eligible to apply for PGCET-2014

Full-Time MBA Course:

Admission to Master of Business Administration course shall be open to all candidates who have passed the Bachelor Degree examination with not less than fifty percent of marks in aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations. However, in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC / ST and Category-I, the aggregate percentage of marks of all the years of the qualifying examinations shall not be less than forty-five percent.

Eligibility Criteria for Part Time MBA in Bangalore University

1) A graduate degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern under any discipline securing at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages from a recognized university.

2) Honours degree under 10+2+4 pattern from a recognized university under UGC Act having at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages.

3)Candidates who have passed bachelor / master degree through correspondence / Open University system from this university or from any other university recognized by law are exempted from 10+2 pattern. The duration of the degrees must be 3 years 2 years respectively.

4) Candidates who pass bachelor / master degree in any university system in single sitting pattern are not eligible.

5) A minimum of two years after graduation full-time supervisory experience in any organization with a turnover of Minimum Three Course and employing not less than 50 employees.

6) In the case of teaching / non-teaching staff working in the university or affiliated colleges, a two / five years of full-time teaching / administrative experience is essential.
