AUMET 2021 Features

Adesh University Medical Entrance Test ( AUMET ) Entrance Examination Selection Procedure  - 2015 :

Adesh University has Conducted Medical Entrance Examination for the admission of MBBS / BDS courses during the academic year 2015-16.

For BDS Course Selection procedure:

The admission to the BDS / MBBS Course will be on the basis of a competitive entrance test ( AUMET-2015 ). A candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination and in addition must have come in the merit list prepared as a result of such competitive entrance test by securing not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the competitive examination.

In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Casts, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination and competitive examination be 40% instead of 50%.

Provided that a candidate who has appeared in the qualifying examination the result of which has not been declared, he may be provisionally permitted to take up the competitive entrance test and in case of selection for admission to the BDS / MBBS course he shall not be admitted to that course until he fulfills the eligibility criteria.

Tie-Breaker:

In case of two or more candidates securing equal marks in competitive Entrance Test ( AUMET-2015 ) / qualifying examinations, their inter-se merit will be determined as under:

Firstly the candidate having higher percentage of aggregate marks at +2 level in PCB calculated up to 3 decimal points.

If that is also equal, then the candidate having higher marks in the subject of Biology in qualifying examination i.e 10+2.

If that is also equal, then the candidate, older in age.
