Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research PG Nursing

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), originated as École de Médicine de Pondichérry established by the French Government in the year 1823.
This medical school was converted into Dhanvantari Medical College at the time of de facto transfer of Pondicherry to Government of India.
This Medical College was later upgraded into Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER).

JIPMER PG Nursing 2021 Educational Qualification

Eligibility Criteria for JIPMER 2018:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess MBBS or an equivalent Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India. 

Experience: 

A candidate must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating internship / Practical training on or before 31st December 2017.

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 

(i) For all other categories including OBC Category 55% marks in aggregate.

(ii) For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate. 

(iii) For OPH candidates the minimum aggregate as provided in (i) and (ii) for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply.
