Kerala Commissionerate of Entrance Examinations ( Kerala CEE )

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations was established in 1983 as a separate set up for the conduct of Entrance Examinations for admission to Professional Courses in the State as per G.O.(Ms) No.31/83/H.Edn. Dated 19.02.1983. The Higher Education Department in the Secretariat is functioning as the administrative department of the Commisionerate of Entrance Examinations.

The Commissionerate has been conducting thirteen Entrance Examinations, both for Undergraduate and Post Graduate Professional Courses. Of these examinations conducted in a time bound manner and catering to the needs of the aspirants of Professional Courses, the Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical Entrance Examinations ( KEAM ) is the major one in which near about one lakh twenty five thousand candidates participate every year.

The Entrance Examination for admission to Post Graduate Medical Courses ( PGM ), Kerala for the year 2015, is re-scheduled to 08.02.2015 ( Sunday ) at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode.

Kerala CEE 2021 PG - Exam Pattern

Kerala Commissionerate of Entrance Examinations ( Kerala CEE ) for PG Medical Entrance Exam Pattern- 2015

There shall be two papers of two hours duration each, consisting of 150 Objective Type Multiple Choice questions each having Four options of which only one will be the most appropriate answer.

Paper- I will consist of Pre Clinical and Para- Clinical subjects and paper- II will consist of Clinical subjects. Distribution of number of questions from each subjects will be as shown below.

The PG Medical Entrance Examination- 2015 shall be of the standard of MBBS Examination and shall cover all the subjects of the MBBS course.

All the questions will be of objective type. All entries in the OMR sheet including filling of the bubbles should be done by using ball point pen only ( Blue or Black colored ink ).

Each correct response shall be awarded four marks.

Negative marking will be adopted for incorrect responses.

One mark will be deducted for each incorrect response and Zero marks will be given for unanswered questions. More than one response to same question will be deemed as incorrect response and one mark will be deducted.

A minimum of 50% mark in the Entrance Examination is mandatory for general category candidates to become eligible for admission as per the Medical Council of India Post Graduate Regulations.

In the case of candidates belonging to SC / ST, SEBC & Service Quota the required minimum marks in the entrance examination is 40% and in the case of candidates with locomotory disabilities of lower limbs between 40% and 70% the required minimum marks in the Entrance Examination shall be 45%.
