Punjab Medical Entrance Test ( PMET )

Punjab Medical Entrance Test is mainly conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Science, Faridkot. Punjab PMET is an entrance examination which is conducted for offering admission in Medicine and Dentistry courses like MBBS / BDS etc under private and government colleges of Punjab. After the year 2016, Admission is provided on the basis of NEET score card. Candidates have to participate in NEET examination. NEET is a National Level Entrance Examination known as National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. Candidates should apply online for getting admission in MBBS / BDS courses. PMET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

PMET 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for PMET 2018 Entrance Examination is as follows; Candidate can scroll through it, to get an absolute idea of qualification needed for each course.

  1. The applying candidate must be a bonafide resident of Punjab.
  2. Candidate must have to complete their 10+2 or equivalent examination.
  3. 50% aggregate mark for General (GEN) candidate.
  4. 40% mark for Scheduled Cast (SC)/ Backward Classes (BC)
  5. 45% for Person with Disability
  6. From Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology taken together along with English.
  7. Appearing candidates can also apply for PMET 2018.

PMET 2018 Age Limit:

The minimum age of the applying candidate will be 17 and maximum he/she can apply till 25 years of their age.
