The Institute is coming up fast at the Amritsar-Mehta Road with a sprawling new campus in about 33 acres of land. Presently, it has got permission for an intake of 150 students for the MBBS course annually.

Named after the fourth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Ram Das, the founder of holy city of Amritsar, the Institute of Medical Sciences & Research was started in the year 1997. The first batch passed out in December, 2002. The Institute is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.

Online Application Form is available for admission to MD / MS / MDS ( NRI Seats ) in Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical / Dental Sciences & Research, Sri Amritsar respectively. However, all the NRI candidates will have to qualify “PG Entrance Test” which will be conducted by the institute ( only for NRI Candidates ) itself on 11/5/15 at 11:00 am in this institute’s premises.

For Sikh History & Religion Test – 2015

The result of the Sikh History & Religion Test – 2015 will be declared on or before 16-01-2015.The result will be available on Institutes official website

The result as and when declared shall be final and not subject to review / appeal or reconsideration at any time.

The legitimacy of a candidate’s claim to a seat is subject to verification of documents and decision of the Selection Committee at the time of admission / counseling only.

Therefore, this result shall only be of qualifying in nature and the same will not confer any right or claim of seat thereof.
