Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences & Research( SGRDIMSR ) Medical Entrance Examination

The Institute is coming up fast at the Amritsar-Mehta Road with a sprawling new campus in about 33 acres of land. Presently, it has got permission for an intake of 150 students for the MBBS course annually.

Named after the fourth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Ram Das, the founder of holy city of Amritsar, the Institute of Medical Sciences & Research was started in the year 1997. The first batch passed out in December, 2002. The Institute is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.

Online Application Form is available for admission to MD / MS / MDS ( NRI Seats ) in Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical / Dental Sciences & Research, Sri Amritsar respectively. However, all the NRI candidates will have to qualify “PG Entrance Test” which will be conducted by the institute ( only for NRI Candidates ) itself on 11/5/15 at 11:00 am in this institute’s premises.

For MD / MS / MDS Courses

Provisional online Admit Card bearing the Roll number of the candidate will be generated automatically after the successful submission of online application form.

The admit Card must be shown at the examination centre and also at the time of counseling.

The candidate should not part with this Admit Card until the counseling is over.

Mere issuance of Admit Card shall not necessarily mean that the candidate is eligible for admission to MD / MS / MDS Courses.

The final eligibility for admission will be determined at the time of counseling when the candidate appears in person and his / her original documents are examined.
