International English Olympiads ( IEO )Test Entrance Examination

The IEO ( International English Olympiad ) is an English language examination conducted in India. The British Council is extremely happy to be collaborating with SOF on providing the tests for the International English Olympiad. The students from classes 1 - 12 are eligible for appearing in it. All students participating in IEO get an 'English Quotient ( EQ )', giving their score, school rank, city rank, state rank, international rank and percentile, as well as a 'Certificate of Participation'. SOF also generates a performance report for all participating schools, known as 'School English Quotient ( SEQ ). A School English Scholar Medal' is awarded to every class topper (with minimum 10 enrollments in the class concerned) in each participating school. Scholarship Details

Girl Child Scholarship Scheme ( GCSS )

Rs.5000/each scholarship to 300 girls who are academically inclined but come from economically modest families.

Scholarship for Excellence in English ( SEE )

Rs.5000/ each scholarship to 120 students exhibiting excellence in English Language.

SOF – Academic Excellence Scholarship ( AES )

Rs.5000/ scholarship + Trophy to 160 students from class three to class ten. Student scoring highest number of marks in 3 Olympiad exams during the year wins the AES. Winners to be selected for all 20 zones / states.

Teachers Training Camp ( TTC )

100 teachers to attend a residential camp on Education Technologies conducted by British Council.
