Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research ( IISER ) Entrance Examination

IISER Kolkata offers a Bachelor and Masters (BS-MS) dual degree programme in synchrony with other IISERs. The selection for the BS-MS programme is conducted through an common annual summer selection. IISER Kolkata offers a unique training programme to the selected candidates through a balanced schedule of class room lessons, project and research works.

While the Institute aims to comprehensively train the students in each of the major subjects, much attention is also directed to the development of the inter-disciplinary skills. It is a five-year dual degree program for bright and motivated science students who have passed class XII. The program integrates classroom learning with research and provides ample scope for multidisciplinary interactions.

How to Apply:

  1. IISER Application Form available in online mode only.
  2. IISER Online Application form from the 4th week of May and the last date of submission of the application is different for all the streams.
  3. The Candidates can choose the institution out of seven IISER according to their preferences in the application form.
  4. The acknowledgment of the receipt of Entrance Test application will be intimated through e-mail or SMS.
  5. Submit all required documents in Application Form.
  6. After submitting these details in the form of IISER student required to upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature.
