Indo Tibetan Border Police

ITBPF was raised on 24 Oct,1962.Presently ITBP is deployed on border guarding duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh covering 3488 km of Indo-China Border and manning Border Outposts on altitudes raging from 9000’ to 18700’ in the Western, Middle and Eastern Sector of the Indo-China Border.

ITBPF is a specialized mountain Force and most of the officers & men are professionally trained mountaineers and skiers. Being the first responder for natural disaster in the Himalayas, ITBPF has been carrying out numerous rescue and relief operations.

Application Procedure for the post of Deputy Judge Attorney General & Deputy Commandant:

Candidates fulfilling the above conditions of eligibility may apply on white paper in the prescribed proforma attached with this advertisement. The candidates must send the following documents with application:

(i) Certified true copy of the matriculation or equivalent certificate as proof of date of birth with mark sheet:

(ii) Certified true copy of certificate of Bachelors Degree in Law as mentioned in para-5 with mark sheet.

(iii) Two identical photograph (recent passport size) 5x7 cms approx, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, one pasted on application from and other attached to the application duly attached on reverse.

(iv) Two self address stamped envelope of I 1.5 cms x 27.5cms size.

(v) Attested copy of NOC issued by the employers in case the candidate is a Government employee, be attached.

Closing date of receipt of application:

The last date of receipt of application is 22-7-2013 for all states except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J&K State, and Lahual & Spiti Distt. and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba distt of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 29-07-2013.
