The main agency for law enforcement in Uttarakhand is the police force of Uttarakhand, which comes directly under the control of Ministry of Home Affair and the Uttarakhand government. The police force of Uttarakhand is directed and led by the â€œDIRECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE.â€ The mission of Uttarakhand Police is to uphold the rule of law, maintain order, prevent and detect crimes, facilitate tourism, preserve peace and provide for a safe environment in Uttarakhand by working in partnership with the community.In pursuance of our mission, we shall:

Uttarakhand Police 2021 Constable/ Fire Recruitment

Uttarakhand Police Constable and Fireman Recruitment 2014:

Uttarakhand Police Headquarters, Dehradun invited application for recruitment to the 350 posts of Constable and Fireman. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 01 March 2014.

Name of the Post & Vacancy Details:

1. Constable in Civil Police (Male): 129 posts

2. Constable in PAC (Male): 196 posts

3. Fireman: 25 posts

Age Limit:

The age of the candidate must not be less than 18 and should not exceed 22 Years.

Educational Qualification:

The candidates must have passed Intermediate examination/ 10+2 Exam from a recognized Board.

Application Fee:

A candidate has to pay Rs 60/- for General and OBC applicants and Rs 15/- for SC/ ST applicants, fee must be paid through treasury challan.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Standard Test & Written Test.

Eligible applicants may submit their application in prescribed format available in the notification along with all relevant documents to the â€œSenior/ Police Office of the Superintendent (Recruitment Centre)â€ of related District on or before 01-03-2014 till 05:00 PM.
