Odisha Public Service Commission

Recommendations of the Royal Commission on superior services in India, 1924, referred to in short, as the Lee Commission, and now they find a place in the Constitution of India in Articles 315 to 323. The Odisha Public Service Commission was constituted on 1st April 1949 after it’s bifurcation from the former Bihar and Odisha Joint Public Service Commission. At the time of creation of the Odisha Public Service Commission, the strength of the Commission was three including Chairman. The strength increased to five in the year 1979 and further increased to six in the year 1996.

The Commission has acquired varied experiences and expertise in the matter of selection of personnel to various services of the Government of Odisha during its functioning for more than five decades. It has also gone a long way in achieving the purpose of drawing the best personnel for the public services of Odisha.

OPSC 2021 Application Form

To take part in the examination and the selection process, candidates need to apply thru the application form. The guidelines to fill the application form have been given here:

The application form of the examination will be available on the official website of OPSC.
In the application form, candidates will have to fill all the details such as the name, address and the details of the educational qualification.
Candidates will also upload the scanned photo and signature in the application form.
There will be an application fee which every applicant will pay thru the online mode.
The application fee can be paid thru the credit card, debit card or net banking.
Candidates need to save the registered application form in the pdf format after registering online for future reference.
