  1. Find the numbers on the number line that are at a distance of 3 units in the opposite directions to −2

  2. Find the predecessor and successor of i) 0 and ii) −8 on a number line.

  4. Write all the integers between the given numbers.
    i) 7 and 10
    ii) −5 and 4
    iii) −3 and 3
    iv) −5 and 0

  5. Look at the Celsius Thermometer and answer the following questions:
    i) What is the temperature that is shown in the Thermometer?
    ii) Where will you mark the temperature 50 C below 00 C in the Thermometer?
    iii) What will be the temperature, if 100 C is reduced from the temperature shown in the Thermometer?
    iv) Mark the opposite of 150 C in the Thermometer.

  11. Take two cards from a deck of playing cards and identify, which is greater between them, assuming that the joker card represents zero, black cards represent positive integers, red cards represent negative integers and the cards A, J. Q and K represent 1, 11, 12 and 13 respectively.
