AMIK always looked forward in the development and welfare of the people. NGOs now-a-days are booming sectors for the growth and improvement of the life of the poor and needy people living below the poverty line. Thus, through imparting education in different spheres it can build up a new generation who will come forward to hold the hands of those people. Very few or no NGOs have taken up this innovative dimension to create a better world, a better place to live in, a better livelihood for the poor and a better tomorrow through education and knowledge.

AMIK Institute of Management Sciences and Technology is valued and unique academic set up in Durgapur Steel City now also well known as an educational hub of India. AMIK always wanted to do something new and innovative realizing the need to do lot for socio-economic development. It has started the undergraduate and post-graduate courses on Social Work to cater to the need and demand for the social workers as well as social work professionals. It has also started Master in Business Administration to develop professional skill and expertise.
