About College

This is an era of globalization and rapid economic growth where nations and cultures are coming closer. Our country is emerging as a major power and a robust participant in businesses across geographies. To meet the challenges of the such growth in industry and its allied fields we are in dire need of highly energetic professionally qualified managers and professionals. We now belong to a knowledge society and hence educational institutions and industrial needs must match so that businesses prosper and ultimately the benefits can reach the needy and downtrodden.

At the very outset we need to educate our youth in the true sense of the word by equipping them with people skills and sound domain knowledge in their respective fields.
This coupled with good moral and ethical practices will give them the confidence to forge ahead in life and prove themselves in their chosen areas of interest and be future role models.

We here in Bengal Institute of Technology and Management(BSTM) , which has already found a enviable place in list of colleges affiliated under WBUT, strive to impart the best of holistic development in every way so that our pass-out can take up responsibilities smoothly. Creating intellectual capital would mean the presence of knowledge, effort , talent and morality. The absence of any of the four things would make intellectual capital a big zero,hence nurturing all of these is our prime concern.

Our curriculum encourages students to participate in seminars and out door activities such as sports and voluntary blood donation camps organized by the institute. The learned and experienced faculty of the college provide a warm teacher taught relationship so that pupils do not feel constrained in any way. 

I have full trust that our students will make the most of the facilities we provide. I am sure that they will cherish pursuing their under-graduate course and imbibe all the positive attitudes needed to be successful in life right here in our institute and be industry ready.
