About College

Bhadrak Autonomous College, Bhadrak, Orissa was established in 1948 to cater the needs of higher education by some local benevolent personalities like Shri Chakhadi Mohanty, Shri Narendra Prasad Das and Dr Harekrishna Mahatab. Later, the College was taken over by the Orissa Government in 1971. On 10th April 2002 the College was accorded the status of an autonomous College with concurrence of State Government and U.G.C. The College is permanently affiliated to Fakir Mohan University, Balasore and is recognized under 2(f) and 12 (B) by U.G.C. Before the establishment of F.M. University, the college was affiliated to Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.
