DUMKAL COLLEGE

Dumkal College (DC), Murshidabad was established in 1999. This is a Self financing, co- education college. The aim of the college is to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need in this era of information and teaching and as well as to provide ideal environment to develop mental, Physical, social and spiritual level of students.  The college is well equipped with all modern facilities. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to the students of the college. 

The college is affiliated to University of Kalyani, established in 1960. The University was set-up in the post independence period. The University has a three-star accreditation from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University is an academic hub of sub urban region of West Bengal. The University provides academic guidance and leadership to several affiliated degree colleges and its territorial jurisdiction extends to the districts of Nadia, Murshidabad and parts of North 24 Parganas.  In this University the total number of academic departments is 25.
