The Gandhi group of Institutions (GIIT, GATE, and GP) was therefore formed as an educational initiative in response to the emerging trends, by a group of educational professionals and socialites of Orissa

The Group started with its venture in 2008 by establishing “GIIT, located at Berhampur and now has expanded to start GATE and GP in 2009from its integrated campuses at Golanthara, Berhampur with a strength of around 1200 students yearly & collectively termed as Gandhi group of Institutions Berhampur.

The group started under the chairman ship of visionary economist and socialite Dr. C D Panda. He is the key player in establishing no of technical institution like GIET in 1997, IACER in 1999 GITA in 2003, GDC in 2005, GITAM in 2008,GIST in 2008, one 10+2 colleges named Jupiter science college and two public schools named Gandhi public school .

Gandhi group of Institutions are held in repute by the corporate world of trade & industry and increasingly more & more front running companies are sourcing their entry level professional manpower needs from group engineering colleges.
