George College, Kolkata was established in 2001, as an affiliated college of the West Bengal University of Technology. It has added a new chapter to an illustrious heritage: The origin of the group was with the establishment of The George Telegraph Training Institute in 1920 to arrest the rising tide of unemployment by providing job-oriented training tailored to the requirement of industry. Today, the George Telegraph Training Institute offers more than fifty courses in seven disciplines through Twenty centres in Eastern India under the advice of major manufacturing companies of the nation. The George College is located at the heart of kolkata at B.B. Ganguly Street, near Sealdah Railway Station.

George College is dedicated to developing the youth into knowledge technologists with the innovative and flexible approach to work that is essential in the modern competitive 
business environment. George College will continuously Introduce degree level courses
