Global Institute of Science and Technology is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology and also affiliated to West Bengal State Council of Technical Education and approved by All India Council for Technical Education. The Institute offers Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Business Administration BBA(H) and also offers Diploma Courses. 

Global Institute of Science and Technology was set up in 2006 by Indian Centre for Advancement of Research and Education (ICARE) with a view to creating high profile technical force to meet the rquirement of modern and quality conscious industries by providing quality education in the field of Science and Technology keeping pace with the fast changing industrial development in West Bengal and other parts of India for globalisation.
