Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering Technology, Bathinda was established by well known educational & charitable “BALAJI EDUCATIONAL TRUST” in the year 2001 to impart technical education. In a short span of time, it has emerged as one of the prestigious institution of the area. The College  is situated at Talwandi Sabo in district Bathinda, a historic town blessed by Tenth Guru ‘Sh. Guru Gobind Singh Ji’ as ‘Guru Ki Kashi’, that is the ‘Place of Knowledge & Learning’.

The vision of the trust is to set up World Class Infrastructure for imparting Technical Education with human values and its mission is to produce technically superior and ethically strong technocrats for Global Market. GGSCET is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Govt. of Punjab And is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar.
