I.I.H.T. Bargarh, the fifth central sector institute came into existance on june 2nd 2008.Initially it started functioning in the panchayat college campus in bargarh township which is a prominent place in western part of orissa. The permanent campus is under construction on Bargarh-Bhatli road, 8 Kms. away from the district headquarter.
