Indic Institute of Design and Research though situated close to the heart of Bhubaneswar, is sufficiently removed from the hustle and bustle to provide a serene environment for higher learning. The college has excellent infrastructure with 50 acres of lush green compact campus, surrounded by vegetation and greenery.

Indic Institute of Design and Research (IIDR), Bhubaneswar was established in 2008 by Gyan Kalp Charitable Trust. The Institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology.  The Institute will add to the social and educational development of the state and the nation by providing quality technical education to the students of Orissa and the neighboring states. Indic has been trying to establish itself as a premier Institution engaged in imparting quality technological education and providing support to research and development activities.
