About College

Kandra RadhaKanta Kundu Mahavidyalaya, Kandra was established in 2001. The college is affiliated to the Burdwan University. Sri Amar Chand Kundu contributed a lot towards the foundation of the college. The main objective of the institute is to promote women education in the region.

The main vision of the college is to provide higher education to the youth especially women and other backward class people of Kandra village and surrounding areas, so that they can face confidently different challenges of life. The college is steadily progressing in its mission and vision of catering higher education to the students of backward P.S of Ketugram of Burdwan and the adjoining districts of Mursidabad and Birbhum.

The college is situated in the small village Kandra, in Burdwan District. Kandra was a birth place of famous Vaishnava poet Jnanadas. The organization is spreader over areas of 5.27 acres. The college has built its own building in July 2002.
