Kohima Science College

Kohima Science College, Jotsoma was established in 1961. Kohima Science College has been successively affiliated to Guwahati University, North-Eastern Hill University and Nagaland Central University.  The college is recognized under UGC. The college has been engaged in fostering the spirit of enquiry and nurturing a knowledge ecology that strengthens the knowledge base of the students to propel them to higher studies and other technical arenas.

Kohima Science College aspires to engage in improving the standards of science education in the state and generate knowledge that is value-based. The institute aims at initiating science education and to impress upon the students the need and importance of research. They realize that the college has a vast scope and role.
