Nagar College

Nagar College (NC), Murshidabad was established in 1998. This is a well-known Self Financing, Co-education College in this region. The college is providing higher quality education to both boys and girls and excels in areas pertaining to their all round development and up gradation of society at large. Its aim is to cater the needs of the rural youths of  Bengal. The college offers the courses in Discipline of arts and science. The curriculum is designed by the Boards of Studies of Kalyani University. The college has state-of-the-art technologies and infrastructure.

The college is affiliated to University of Kalyani, established in 1960. The University of Kalyani was set-up in the post independence period. The University is an academic hub of sub urban region of West Bengal. The University provides academic guidance and leadership to several affiliated degree colleges and its territorial jurisdiction extends to the districts of Nadia, Murshidabad and parts of North 24 Parganas.
